Tolon House Exterior

By rental car

The fastest and most flexible option. All major rental companies (Hertz, Avis, Sixt, Europcar, Enterprise and others) have desks at the Arrivals level of Athens Airport.

Route: Attiki Odos (A6, toll) → A8 toward Corinth → cross the Corinth Canal bridge → A7 "Moreas" toward Tripoli → exit for Argos/Nafplio → Nafplio → Tolo. About 165 km, ~2 h, with tolls totaling around €15–18 one way.

Several toll points on the Attiki Odos and A7 — keep cash or a contactless card handy.

Fuel on the motorway is very expensive. We recommend fueling up in Argos or Nafplio on your way back to save money.
